We have a tennis champ at our house! Jim and his friend Jonz won the city tennis tournament-intermediate bracket- on Saturday. They played 4 quick games, no ad scoring, to seed everyone and then for the tournament they played first team to eight, no ad, single elimination. At one point they were down 3-7 at match point and still came back to win 8-7 against our neighbors, no less! For the finals they beat a doubles team from the HS team. The kids were pretty good and had beat Jim and Jonz in the seeding round. I think the kids thought they had it sewn up! But J&J had the experience, and cleaned up with a final of 8-3. I personally think they should have gotten a bigger trophy! LOL! Thanks to Ozwald Balfour OMNI Media, LLC for the photo with our local council woman.
