Inside the Mergers

At the Closing Banquet of our Las Vegas trip the obvious topic among Securities Brokers came up- the economy and the merging of banks and brokerage companies. Someone at the table proffessed to have inside knowledge of the new names of some of the companies.
It seems that the merger of Morgan Stanely and Citigroup will now be CitiMorgue; and Bank Of America and Merrill Lynch have decided on LynchAmerica. Wachovia and Wells Fargo are undecided, but are considering WachFar, Go; or possibly Wells Wach all Ovia.
